Decisions regarding acceptance will be made to corresponding presenters by December 15, 2017.

The South-Eastern Evolutionary Perspectives Society (SEEPS) is proud to represent and promote evolution research, education, and outreach in the Southeastern United States and beyond. We provide a venue that is interdisciplinary and values diversity of fields, backgrounds, demographics, and perspectives. It is our pleasure to invite proposal submissions for the 3rd Annual Meeting of the South-Eastern Perspectives Society, to take place in Savannah, Georgia on February 8th-10th, 2018.
 
SEEPS invites proposals from faculty, students, researchers, and enthusiasts for full sessions, roundtable talks, lightning presentations, posters, workshops, performances, or creative activities related research, education and outreach in evolution or otherwise promoting evolutionary perspectives. The KEPS and K12 divisions invite proposals for interactive and engaging hands-on K-12 student or educator presentations or workshops related to evolution research, activities, or teaching. 

Note: Student contributions are open to K-12 students (KEPS), Undergraduate students (general conference), and Graduate students (general conference); Presenters may be involved in no more than three proposal submissions per session.


Guidelines for Presenters

All Talks & Posters:
Submit title, presentation type, and abstract (max 250 words). 

Lightning Presentations:
Submit the Title and one sentence summary under abstract.

Workshops:
Submit title, time requirements, and abstract (max 250 words). 

Other Performances and Artistic Demonstrations:
Submit title, description of event in abstract (max 250 words).
